I'm the first to admit I've been blessed more than the average 23 year old. I've been exposed to business and Corporate America since I was a child. I ran my first business at 14 and made thousands of dollars. I've had the best education and have participated in business programs, internships, and am surrounded by successful business owners. There's an old saying "to whom much is given, much is expected". I believe it and try and act accordingly.
Because I am abundantly blessed, there are some things I can afford that others can't. And no, I don't mean financially. I mean I can manage to bear these things without serious detriment.
I can afford to give people the benefit of the doubt...
I can afford to let things go...
I can afford to be open about my insecurities...
I can afford to take risks...
I can afford to fail...
I wonder about those whose resources are not plentiful. I worry about their path through their career and I am curious about their experiences. Do they have a reasonable alternative if they cannot afford the same things I can? What stimulates a career recession?
